Progress Alberta is a worker-controlled non-profit based in amiskwaciwâskahikan/Edmonton in Treaty 6 territory.

The primary work of Progress Alberta is The Progress Report, an independent media platform reporting on political and social movement news in Alberta, and The Labour Intelligence Report, a subscriber-only news digest for the labour movement.

Progress Alberta used to do advocacy and campaigning work but stopped doing that in 2019. Former projects of Progress Alberta include campaigning against carding, coal power, elite private schools, privatization of public services, and our Stop Kenney electoral campaign against Alberta's United Conservative Party.
